Have you heard about a man of
letters, a sign of emblem, a kind-hearted guy and a philanthropist? If you are
in Western India, then the first name which comes to your mind will be Rakesh Rajdev. He is a businessman as
well as an active social worker.
Philanthropy is the genetic trait
which is transferred from generation to generation in this family. His kind-hearted
nature was transmitted to him by his late father PartapbhaiRajdev. Rakesh
belongs to Rajkot, Gujarat. He is a famous businessman in this state who runs a
luxurious three-star hotel namely Roma Kristo Hotel in Dwarka.
Usually, the elite class people and
celebrities come to this place to taste some delicious foods and to have some
good free time. But Rakesh is a Nobel heart person, who thinks about the lower
class people who lead their lives under the poverty line in society.
For the school-going children, he
offered educational kits to support them. Rakesh chose about 8000 needy
students and offered them school bags, water bottles, lunch boxes and other
necessary stationery items. For some students, he also offered food packages so
that they can cope with the challenging time. All these were generally offered
to the students from Grade 1 to Grade 9.
During the COVID-19 pandemic time,
hunger issues reached their hype. Hence, Rakesh Rajdev sends a large number of food packages, sanitizing materials and grocery packages to these people by 34 trains so that
they will reach their hometowns itself.
