During the COVID-19 lockdown, many people suffered a lot. Rakesh Rajdev was a person who contributed a lot to the people who were
suffering from food scarcity and hunger issues. To tackle the adverse situation
in India, Rakesh helped in many ways through his social welfare organization
namely Kanuda Mitra Mandal.
For students – Through this social welfare organization, Rakesh
worked for the educational sector too. Rakesh helped about 8000 needy students
with educational kits. He offered school bags, lunch boxes, water bottles,
notebooks and other stationery items for the students of Grades 1 to 9.
Moreover, he offered the children of labourers food packages.
For labourers – For labourers, Rakesh Rajdev offered
financial support during the lockdown. He assisted about 50000 labourers by
offering them food packages, grocery packages and sanitizing kits. Rakesh
transferred these materials through 34 trains. Rakesh ensured that every train
had the aiding things so that it will reach the needy people’s hometowns
safely.
For medical centres – During the pandemic time, hospitals and
medical centres were filled with COVID-19 positive patients. Hence during that
moment, Rakesh offered beds, testing kits, sanitizing materials and other many
medical equipment so that the hospitals and medical centres can offer
treatment to the COVID-19 positive patients.
Apart from this, Rakesh Rajdev also arranged
luxury rooms for the front line heroes and paramedical staff so that they can
take rest and support the patients. Rakesh is the symbol of dedication to
social well-being. He also visited nearby places and motivated the people so
that they can cope with the challenging time.
Also, during the lockdown, many people got stuck in their
workplaces. Hence Rakesh arranged a transportation option so that they can
reach their hometown safely. In this way, Rakesh took many steps to support the
suffering people during COVID-19 pandemic time.
